South Carolina Shrimp and Grits

So we have something to discuss. This meal is not vegan. I know, I know. But it was for a school project. For social studies, we are cooking our way through America. We made shrimp and grits for South Carolina and that's where I was born.

Since it is not vegan I gave it a new rating: drumsticks. Yums are for vegan food, drumsticks are for the not vegan stuff.  So the shrimp and grits was...

It was so good. AAAAA this part is always the hard part. The shrimp was so nice and greasy and tasted like bacon. Well, we cooked it in bacon grease so that's probably why. The grits tasted like, well grits and butter and cheese. One more reason why it was so good is that I helped make it. But while I was at it, I should have made sweet tea. Well that's all for now.
